Hi my name is Maxine and I am the principal and heart behind everything at Meraki Dance Studios. You will find me at the heart and soul of everything that happens here.
As someone who has dedicated my life to the performing arts both in training, working professionally and teaching I believes that everyone should have a chance to experience all that the performing arts offers as it gives us so much in return.
I have been passing on my knowledge over the years and I believe that everyone including myself should continue to keep learning and growing. I have many qualifications which enhances the years of teaching experience.
I spent many years working professionally and feel very lucky to have had such a privileged life travelling the world and performing in some of the most beautiful countries and venues worldwide. What's more I could call it my job! I was given opportunities to dance, sing, perform aerial work and even eat fire. Kids don't try that at home!!!
I have taught many dancers over the years and watching my students achieve their dreams is still one of my favourite things to witness. When you see your students travelling the world performing, directing West End Shows, being on TV or having the confidence to go for their dreams even if that is not within the performing arts. It's just the best feeling!
